Should You Watch: My goodness, please watch this masterpiece!

General Comments: When I watched the first season of this show, I knew we had a gem. After watching the second season, not only do we have a gem, but a masterpiece as well. This is undoubtedly one of the best anime we’ve had in a long time, and definitely the best drama of all time, at least for me. This was perfection personified and this is not an exaggeration whatsoever. The storytelling of this anime about storytelling was sublime and so well done, I’d like to give the team behind it every award that exists. For such a simple plot, this was the most complex story I’ve ever seen, yet it came together beautifully and perfectly, without any loose ends. Everything came full circle from where we began and to how we ended. The entire cast was phenomenal and their VAs accordingly. I’m writing through my tears it was so heartfelt. This story summed up in one sentence is this. Two of the greatest Rakugo masters of all time, inspire generations of those who follow them and their legacy lives on forever through the art that is Rakugo. Please, just do yourself a favor and watch this show. I swear it’ll be the most impacting show you’ll see all year. I pray this will be licensed and sold on disc, because this is one for the collection.
